Kpop is a growing industry that will continue to influence the world.– Q is known for his long neck (from “Open The Boyz”). It’s their dreams to be able to sing or dance in front of thousand or millions of people. Many Kpop idols perform in the Kpop industry because they like to perform on the stage. From setting up charities to help children or bringing up issues in the Kpop industries and finding a solution to them. Many Kpop groups have used their influence to do good for the communities. Some fans have taken it to the next level to make sure that their idols notice them from slapping them or even stalking them. Some idols have fainted during their music video recording or during their live stages due to the lack of energy. Many female and male idols have to go to extreme diets before their comebacks to make sure they look as skinny as possible. ![]() Another problem with the industry is the fact that they have so many outlandish standard toward male and female groups. Many companies have been fixing that by providing classes for them to teach them how to preform simple task that every citizen has to know how to do. When they leave the industry many of them won’t be able to do basic everyday task like paying taxes. Most Kpop idol only have a career that only last for about 10 or so years. They won’t be focusing on their education. All that money could go to waste because not everyone is good enough to because a famous Kpop idol. Due to the fact that many aspiring Kpop idols have to spend money to get lessons to better their abilities and have to spend many years to train to become a Kpop idol there are many problems with that. Each Kpop artists spend years training to become a artists but only a few make it to the mainstream media in South Korea and even less get attention overseas. From crazy fans that cause harm to their favorite artists to the companies treating their artist horribly. Many Kpop groups in the past few years are formed by appearing on TV shows to show their singing or rapping abilities. Problems in the Kpop IndustryĮven though Kpop seems like this very happy genre of music there is still many problems that needs to be addressed in the industry. As new groups are being formed many old groups are disbanding within the past 2 years many original Kpop groups have been disbanding and their members going off to do their own things. ![]() There are over 400 different Kpop groups and solo artists and more are debuting every year. In 2011 The three biggest company in Kpop come together to form the United Asia Management. Japan will become the biggest market for Korean culture products. In 2001 Kpop starts to top the music chats in Japan. In 1998 a former member of the group Seo Taiji and The Boys named Yang Hyun Suk formed the third largest Kpop company named YG Entertainment. One of their most famous song is called Candy. In 1997 a man named Park Jin Young founded JYP Entertainment making it the second largest Kpop company.Ī Kpop group from SM Entertainment in 1998 begins to gain international attention. In 1992 a dance group called Seo Taiji and The Boys became extremely popular to the Korean public due to the fact that they incorporated American rap, techno, and rap into their music. In 1989 a man named Lee Soo Man founded SM Entertainment what would become the largest Kpop company. Kpop is Korean pop music that comes from South Korea.
